A seismic shift in Rachael Finch's life! The beloved wellness entrepreneur and her husband, Michael Miziner, have embarked on a significant relocation, trading their city dwelling for a new chapter on the Gold Coast. This isn't just a change of scenery; it's a heartfelt move driven by family. They've purchased a substantial 860sq m riverfront block in Helensvale, a tranquil suburb on the northern Gold Coast, specifically to be nearer to Rachael's mother, Colleen Zablocki. This prime piece of real estate, valued at $1.75 million, is nestled within the secure Serenity Shore gated community, offering a serene waterside lifestyle with access to Saltwater Creek, just a short 30-minute boat ride from the Broadwater.
This exciting new venture follows the sale of their long-time Waterloo penthouse apartment last year for an impressive $3.1 million. The couple had originally acquired this stylish two-level, three-bedroom residence off-the-plan in the Divercity complex in 2014 for $1.65 million, a year before its completion. It served as their urban sanctuary after they left their previous home in Brighton Le Sands. More recently, they had been renting a duplex in Matraville for $2450 per week.
But here's where it gets interesting... While the move is primarily for family, it also marks a return to Queensland for Rachael, who hails from Townsville in Far North Queensland. She moved to Sydney in 2009 after her stint in the Miss Universe competition. Her journey with Michael began in 2010 when they were partners on Channel 7's Dancing With The Stars, leading to their marriage in 2013.
Since then, Rachael has built a thriving wellness empire, launching her Kissed Earth supplements business in 2019. The couple has also expanded their ventures, opening their first cafe on Bondi's Campbell Parade late last year.
Sharing this news with her 323,000 Instagram followers, Rachael described the move as a "new chapter." She explained, "The start of 2026 sees us moving interstate to the Gold Coast to be closer to my beautiful mum." She candidly admitted, "It’s been a long and hard decision to make but she needs us right now. I do however predict lots of time spent in airports going to and from."
