So we took his British residency plus NEPA, traffic, jollof and we put it on a stage and added a band. This Musical theatre ensemble adaptation is about navigating two worlds: one where you queue, and one where you ‘manage’. About greetings that last 10 minutes, and ‘how far’ that means everything. We use humour as our translator because sometimes the only way to explain ‘why is everyone shouting and smiling at the same time’ is to sing about it."
