125cc Italian Championship: Ernecker's Dominance at Mantova | Race Recap (2026)

Ernecker Dominates 125cc Race at Mantova, Italy

The International Italian Championship's second round at Mantova saw Moritz Ernecker take a commanding victory in the 125cc race. In Race One, Ernecker outpaced Andrea Uccellini, who demonstrated strong pace on his TM. Sleny Goyer, competing in his first pre-season race, finished in third place on his MJC Yamaha.

Race Two began with Ernecker securing the holeshot, but he soon drifted wide and hit the bank, allowing David Cracco and Emil Ziemar to take the inside line. Cracco initially led, but Ziemar swiftly moved to the front. Ernecker, however, made a bold move to pass both riders and took the lead, never looking back. Goyer, undeterred, joined the battle for second place and successfully passed both Cracco and Ziemar to finish in second.

The race results showcased Ernecker's dominance, with Goyer's impressive performance in second place. The final championship standings will be a close contest, with these two riders and others vying for the top positions.

Stay tuned for more thrilling action from the International Italian Championship!
